I attended Louisiana Tech University, thanks to the GI Bill, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. I went on to earn my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials and the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, I exercise unwavering duties of loyalty and care to my clients in developing, implementing, and monitoring my clients’ investment plans.
My experience in public accounting and financial services focused on planning and analysis; portfolio and non-portfolio risk management; and tax-efficient accumulation and distribution strategies. I apply these core disciplines to serve multi-generational families, private business owners, and not-for-profit institutions. Collaborating with my clients’ legal, tax, banking, and other professional advisors also helps improve the decision-making process and outcomes.
I could not ask for a better environment to practice my craft than with my partner, and brother-in-law, Johnny Young. I know he agrees – as we often discuss it — the only thing more important than our clients is our families. My lovely wife, Ella, and our children, Garrett and Gentry, are the pulse and purpose of my life. Watching them grow and develop is a gift, inspiration, and a constant reminder of the impact our work will have on our clients and their families, now and for generations to come.
